Capturing beauty on the western side of RMNP

I visited Grand Lake last week, only to discover the most quaint and charming mountain village in Colorado. Grand Lake hugs both the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and the beautiful and grandest glacier lake in the US, Grand Lake. The park, lake, and the town of Grand Lake offer the best for the outdoor enthusiast... hiking, wildlife viewing (saw two moose grazing), boating, golfing, horse-back riding, camping... you name it, they have it! The mayor, Judy Burke, the chamber, and the town, warmly welcome ALL to this jewel of the Rockies!

Be sure to take the drive on beautiful Trail Ridge Road over to Grand Lake... you'll see what I mean!

View him live! Click on this bit of a clip.

Rushing streams, Radiant light, Rocky's elk
